Here is how our new Going Green service works – First we want to keep the ordering process simple. Call 1-866-USGROUND and Request a GreenCar – before 11:00AM for Guaranteed delivery by 4:00PM. GreenCar service is available for pick up and delivery within Route 495 (some restrictions apply). You will save ten percent off of our standard 5 HR rate, which is 20 to 30 percent less than traditional same day delivery rates.

 We are in the process of updating our entire office network and proprietary software. Until such time as this project is complete (late August early September), we can only accept “GreenCar” orders by telephone.

Currently we have updated 1/3 of our fleet with Green Cars that get 36 miles per gallon or more. Our goal is to have 50 plus Green Cars by the year’s end. Our Green Car fleet consists of the Toyota Prius, Yarish and Mini Cars.

Lastly for those of you who use our online ordering system we want to assure you that when we update our software you will not lose your address book. We are pleased to announce that you will notice tremendous enhancements such as a GPS tracking system which will allow tracking regardless of whether you ordered online or not. You will be linked to our GPS mapping and have the option to see exactly where your courier is located. Our new system “Xcelerator” has become widely regarded as the best software available to the courier industry. Newsletters about the software will be sent out routinely.
